Non-paying Spotify users can now play any song of their choice on the platform. The company has announced that non-payers can also search and listen to songs they want without a Premium subscription.
The sensational development follows another episode of the music streaming platform’s facility. The lossless audio feature, in regular words, high-quality music, has rolled out to paying users after 8 years of waiting. Spotify is an extremely popular online music platform and enabling users to listen to any song of their choice further elevates user experience.

Listen to any song on Spotify without a subscription
The update lets users pick, search, and share their favorite songs. Previously, Spotify would show songs in random order, which compelled users to skip other songs till they got the one they had searched for and wanted to play. And worse, users got six skips per hour. It was annoying and inconvenient for users who used Spotify for their music experience.
Now, users can “pick and play any song you want,” instantly as Spotify said in its blog. There are still some limitations. Users can listen to one song before the shuffling. Spotify spokesperson Luke Mackay has said that “only Spotify Premium users have complete control to play and skip music without restrictions.” Non-subscribers can tap and play any song, but each user gets a daily allocated amount of on-demand time. When the limit is reached, users fall back to the six-skips per hour.
