State-backed company Nepal Telecom (NTC) has started its Viber community account to hear and address grievances. The company made the move as an alternative for users after a social media ban.
Through its Viber account, the company aims to hear out customers’ grievances and address them. The Nepal government banned 26 social media apps on September 4 over non-compliance. This included Facebook, YouTube, X, etc., where NT frequently shared its services and informed users of other updates. It will now also use Viber to stay in touch with its customers.
