Nepal Telecom (NTC) has announced free voice and data services for up to three days to ensure connectivity as the country tries to return to normalcy following Gen Z protests.
“In the current difficult situation in the country, we share to our valued customers that we are providing free package including data and voice for 3 days to facilitate communication with relatives abroad,” the company said in a notice.
So, Ntc customers can get up to three days of free data and voice (phone call) services in these tense times. The offer comes from the state company after Gen Z protests spiraled out and affected many aspects of life over two days till September 08, 2025.

How to get free Ntc data and voce during Gen Z protests?
To get free Ntc data and voice around the ‘Gen Z’ protest times, do the following:
- Go to your phone app
- Dial *1415*8*3# for data and *1415*8*7# for voice
- Or you can dial *1415# and choose either of the packages or both manually
You get 1 day of unlimited data services at 1 Mbps, which lets you surf the web easily. For voice, you get an on-net (NTC – NTC) call, which can be extremely helpful for you to place calls to your friends and family.
The company has also requested people to help protest Ntc and communication services during the protests.
