Ncell has announced a financial assistance of Rs. 10 million (Ra 1 crore) to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts following the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Ncell’s aid comes as part of its CSR commitment to lend help in times of crisis. The Bhotekoshi floods have caused significant loss of lives and property in riverside areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and other affected districts. With communities in urgent need of rescue and assistance, Ncell said the contribution was made in response to the government’s call for support.
The private telco has also expressed sorrow over the tragedy and extended its heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives and sympathy to their families.
