Moto G96 5G Specifications and Features

Moto G96 5G has a familiar design- a slightly raised surface to hold the camera module and the iconic logo on the back. It’s sort of common, iconic, and noticeable on most Motorola phones in Nepal. Likewise, the phone’s sides are plastic, while the back is eco leather. The front gets a Gorilla Glass 5 layer, which ensures rigidity and protection.

Moto G96 5G design display

The display is a highlight of this phone. It’s got a 6.67-inch POLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 1600 nits of peak brightness. The FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels means it renders visuals sharp and vivid.

The Moto G96 features a 50 MP OIS camera with an 8 MP ultrawide on the back and a 32 MP selfie camera on the front. The cameras can record 4K videos. There are some handy AI features to enhance photos. The Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, etc. that help you modify and enhance the photos to your liking. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and boots on Android 15 OS along with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Battery, Connectivity, and Other Features

The phone packs a 5500mAh battery, which should be solid enough for a day under moderate use. The 30W charging is not overkill, but not dull either. It should just do fine. In terms of connectivity, it supports 5G, WiFi 5, GPS, and other regular Android sensors. There’s an under-display fingerprint sensor, which is now becoming pretty standard on upper midrange Android devices. The phone comes with IP68 certification, meaning decent protection against water and dust particles.

Motorola brings some of the most affordable 5G phones in Nepal, and this one is no exception.
