Daraz, Nepal’s biggest online marketplace, has been providing an online platform for entrepreneurs and SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) to sell their products to a larger mass. 8000+ vendors across the nation participated in the Daraz Sahayatri Program and escalated their business by reaching a wider audience.

What is Daraz Seller Sahayatri Program?

Daraz Sahayatri Program is an online market platform launched by Daraz to empower small businesses in Nepal. Entrepreneurs and small businesses looking for an online platform to increase their sells by entering an active arena of Daraz registered in this program either as a DarazMall seller, Local Seller, Global Seller, or Digital Goods Seller as per convenience. 

Daraz invested a whopping NRs. 55 lakhs to implement this program and even waived market charge of four months. Moreover, the sellers could pay their market fees only after the sale. Daraz, one of the biggest e-commerce platforms in Nepal, gives online stores exposure to more than 7 lakh consumers. Daraz Sahayatri Program is not just a place for entrepreneurs and small businesses to earn money but also to earn the trust of customers.

How Daraz Sahayatri Program helped small businesses?

After the widespread of COVID-19, people learned to carry out transactions digitally. People who were skeptical about online platforms now understands the need and importance of them. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, people started to purchase goods online to avoid physical contact and maintain social distancing. It also helped consumers to carry out cashless transactions. Daraz’s collaboration with various online payment platforms in Nepal provides an easy and secure experience in shopping for both customers and vendors.
