Asus Vivobook 16 2025 laptop has been launched in Nepal. The new generation Vivobook ensemble features an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, up to 32 GB of RAM, and an FHD display among other top features that make it a decent laptop for regular users to professionals. Here, we have more details.

Design and Display

The Asus Vivobook 16 2025 comes in a sleek and slender design that gives it a premium look and feel. Unlike other laptops in the Vivobook family, this one opts for a minimalistic look with just the ASUS Vivobook text plastered on the back of the screen panel. The unit weighs up to 1.89 kg, so it should be comfortable to carry around. There are lighter laptops too, but since it’s a 16-inch lineup, the slight increase in weight is understandable.

Coming to the display, the laptop features a 16-inch WUXGA screen with an FHD+ resolution of 1920 x 1200. It’s an IPS-level panel with an LED backlit. The screen reaches brightness peak at 300 nits. The 89% screen-to-body ratio means a large real estate for the screen. For content creation and gaming, the large screen will give you lots of space and utility, and that should be satisfying on a daily basis.

Performance

The Asus Vivobook 16 2025 is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 Processor 225H 1.7 GHz processor that runs at a clock speed of 4.9 GHz. It’s got a massive 14 cores and 14 threads, which means plenty of processing prowess under the hood.

For AI, it’s got Intel AI boost NPU, which offers up to 13 TOPS. So, you get a good combination of computational power and AI capabilities. Likewise, the laptop comes with Intel graphics. There’s also a 16 GB DDR5 RAM on board while supporting up to 32 GB of RAM. For storage, there’s an option to choose between 512 GB or 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD.

Battery

Asus Vivobook 16 2025 comes with a 42WHrs battery that consists of 3 Li-ion cells. You get a 65W AC adapter to charge it. Asus claims that the battery charges from 0 to 60% in 49 minutes. The MyASUS app lets you optimize the battery’s operation to sustain its life. If you set your battery charging to 80%, its lifespan also improves.

Connectivity, ports, and other features

The Asus Vivobook 16 2025 has WiFi 6 support and Bluetooth 5.2, though the version is subject to variation. For ports, it’s got 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (data speed up to 5 Gbps), 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C with the same data speed as earlier. Then, there’s an HDMI 1.4 port and a 3.5mm combo audio jack port. It also features an FHD camera with an IR function.

And as is common these days, the camera comes with a privacy shutter. One unique feature given on the keyboard is that the left and right slides allow to control volume and brightness.
