Dish Home is relatively a fresh company in the ISP venture. The DTH/Internet service provider started its FTTH service last year in 2020 from Kathmandu. However, its service has now expanded across all the major cities in Nepal.
The company faces stiff contests from leading ISPs in Nepal and emerging companies such as CG NET. However, Dish Home has not been shaken by the prospect of a heavy collision. In fact, the company has been more aggressive if not equal in announcing affordable packages over the past months.

Recently, it launched a 25 Mbps plan for an annual charge of Rs.11,500. Its 25 Mbps plan is also available to Lifestyle HD subscribers for just Rs.233.
For higher-end internet consumers, they have an option of Dish Home’s 60/80/100 Mbps packages.
Dish Home has also announced that it plans to launch a 200 Mbps FiberNet which could disrupt the ISP market in Nepal. CG Net ushered in a new trend in the Nepali fiber internet market with a 120 Mbps offer which has inspired many ISPs to offer their own. The company’s 200 Mbps could give a further lift to Nepal’s growing internet speed contest and bring more affordable packages to the customers.
Dish Home’s fiberNet plan has offers from 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps in various price ranges.
The company has 34 thousand, 7 hundred, and 47 FTTH customers till Ashoj, as per NTA’s MIS report (Ashoj).
Dish Home’s FiberNet faces contests from major private ISPs including newcomer CG NET. However, it will also face stiff competition from NTC FTTH which has been building a solid customer base on the back of Triple Play service.
