Prominent DTH turned ISP Dish Home has announced the Student Online Class package for students. The affordable package will ease up students who will be taking online classes amidst the latest school shutdowns due to the COVID-19 cases spike.
COVID-19 cases have surged again and the government has begun fresh restrictions on all service sectors including schools. With it, schools will shift their class online. As in the past, the internet will again be indispensable for thousands of students as they sit behind their computers for virtual classes. Dish Home’s Students’ package will target students who want to engage in online classes at a very low cost using a reliable broadband plan.
Besides the obvious affordability, the student’s offer has a security advantage too. Students who subscribe to this package get their connection directly from the ISP. This means they won’t have to bother asking for WiFi passwords, and also potentially compromise on privacy and risk unwanted breaches into their user data or social media profiles. Students won’t be part of internet sharing among their friends or neighbors. Instead, they will get an interrupted quality fiber broadband without privacy concerns from this subscription.
