Huawei has finally launched the Huawei Watch GT 3 smartwatch in Nepal. The smartwatch was launched last year in China and European markets. Huawei Watch GT 3 Overview

Design/Display

Looking at the design of the smartwatch, Huawei Watch GT 3 features a sleek and minimalistic design. It adopts a simplistic body design with a high-gloss finish and has circular faces. The watch gets a brown leather strap. The smartwatch also has a 5ATM water resistance certification.

The Huawei Watch GT 3 is available in two different sizes: 42mm and 46mm sizes. The 42mm version sports a 1.32 inches AMOLED color screen display with a 466 x 466 pixels resolution. On the other hand, the 46mm model flexes a bigger 1.43 inches AMOLED display with the same 466 x 466 pixels resolution. The 42mm variant uses 20mm straps while the 46mm version uses a 22mm strap. Huawei Watch GT 3 is available in an Active edition with a black shell and strap. There are also Classic and Elite editions for the 46mm. Likewise, the 42 mm version has an Elegant edition with Milanese and leather strap.

Software

Under the hood, the Huawei Watch GT 3 is fueled by the ARM Cortex-M processor. The Watch GT 3 houses 32MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage onboard. On the software front, it runs on HarmonyOS 2.1 and is compatible with HarmonyOS 2, Android 6, iOS 9, or later devices.

Health & Fitness Features

The Huawei Watch GT 3 comes with a fifth-generation TruSeen optical sensor with a newly upgraded heart rate module. It includes eight photodiodes in a circular layout and two sets of light sources. The sensor can track users’ heart rate, All-Day SpO2 Monitoring, sleep, menstrual cycles, etc.

The smartwatch offers more than 100 different workout modes, 18 professional modes, 6 indoor workouts, and 12 outdoor workouts as well. It also uses a feature called Running Ability Index (RAI) to analyze the running performance after each training to help users. Moreover, the watch arrives with a new function called “Healthy Living Shamrock,” which functions identically to the Apple Watch’s Activity Ring.

Battery

On the durability front, the 46mm variant comes equipped with a 455mAh battery. Whereas, the 42mm variant has a 292mAh battery. The smartwatch provides up to 14 days of battery life for the 46mm model and u to 7 days of battery life for the 42mm model.

It also features a built-in assistant, a speaker, a microphone, Bluetooth support and GPs for wireless connectivity.
