Ncell Foundation has called for applications for its latest batch of a community project – “19 for 19”. As usual, the project aims at uplifting education, health, environment disaster preparedness, etc. and willing organizations can apply to head them.

This new initiative is a continuation of the telco’s strong commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and is worth over 19 million. The “19 for 19” project was announced during Ncell’s 19th anniversary.

Ncell Foundation states that eligible organizations can apply for grants for the “19 for 19” projects which seek to “create meaningful and sustainable impact.” Ncell has been a consistent contributor with its CSR activities helping to improve the lives of underserved communities across Nepal.

The ‘19 for 19’ grant will provide financial support to 19 projects across all seven provinces, with each project receiving Rs. 1 million (Rs. 10 lakh) and the total commitment for this project from Ncell Foundation is more than Rs. 19 million. The grant is open to not-for-profit organizations working to address critical challenges at the community level.
