Realme has launched the Realme Pad X tablet in China. The budget-oriented tab comes with a Snapdragon 695 chipset and an 11-inch LCD 2K screen. Design and Display
Realme Pad X boasts a rectangular boxy design with support for a stylus. The stylus supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The tab sports a single camera on the back with a LED flash. It also has quad stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support. It is available in 3 colors; Fluorescent Green Chessboard, Sea Salt Blue, and Star Gray. The green color variant has chessboard stripes on the left of the rear side. Talking about the thickness, it is 7.1mm thick and it weighs around 499 grams. Sadly, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack on the tablet.
Upfront, Realme Pad X sports an 11-inch IPS LCD Display with 2K resolution. There is no fast refresh rate here. The display has a 5:3 ratio and 220 PPI density. The max brightness is 450 nits. It also supports a TUV Rheinland blue light filter and DC dimming.
Performance
The tablet rocks a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset in its core. This midrange silicon is an Octa-core processor with 2×2.2 GHz Kryo 660 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 660 Silver cores. Accompanying the graphics is Adreno 619 GPU. Also, this chip has powered multiple mid-range devices of 2022 like Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, OnePlus Nord N20 5G, and more. The chipset also comes close to Snapdragon 750G in terms of performance. It is paired with 4/6GB RAM alongside 64/128GB of internal storage. Realme Pad X runs on Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0.
Optics
The tablet has a single camera on the back which is a 13MP snapper with an f/2.2 aperture. For videos, it can capture up to 1080p at 30fps. On the front side, there is an 8MP ultra-wide selfie camera with 105° FOV. Further, the front camera supports Apple’s center stage-like functionality and can capture videos up to 1080p at 30fps.
Battery and Other Specs
Realme Pad X is fueled by an 8,340mAh battery which also supports 33W fast charging technology. The tablet has PC connect, and split-view features too. There is also an official keyboard accessory to buy separately which has 1.3mm key travel. It has a USB Type C port too. There is support for Wi-fi and Bluetooth but it lacks on cellular and GPS connection.
