Xiaomi, Nepal’s No.1 brand, launched one of the most loved Redmi Note series in India a few days back. We have already covered the two smartphone lineups Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max in our previous posts that were launched alongside Redmi Note 10 Pro. The brand has launched both Global and Indian Variants of its premium mid-range smartphone Redmi Note 10 Pro. Both variants differ in terms of their camera specs and we’ll be discussing the Indian variant. So without any delay let’s have a look at the specs, availability, and Redmi Note 10 Pro price in Nepal below.
Redmi Note 10 Pro is the successor to the Redmi Note 9 Pro that was introduced a year back. The smartphone comes loaded with almost similar specs and features as that of the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
All of the Redmi Note 10 series come with the almost same design. The brand calls it an “Evol design”. The smartphone has a glass back and houses a rectangular camera module at the rear. It has a 2.96mm punch-hole cut-out that houses the 16 MP selfie camera on the front. The device also features IP53, dust, and splash protection. It also has a flat design and a Side-mounted Fingerprint Scanner. The phone weighs only 192 grams.
Redmi Note 10 Pro sports the same 6.67-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED panel with a 120HZ refresh rate and the HDR10 certification. It also has a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 45000000:1 contrast ratio, a peak brightness of 1200 nits, TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission, and supports Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Moving on to the Optics of the smartphone, Redmi Note 10 Pro only differs to its elder sibling on terms of camera. The smartphone flaunts a quad camera setup with a rectangular camera module at the rear. Redmi Note 10 Pro has a 64 MP Samsung GW3 sensor primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, an 8 MP 118° Ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 5 MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
On the front, the device arrives with a 16 MP In-Display camera with f/2.45 aperture to snap beautiful selfies. The smartphone can record up to [email protected], [email protected]/60/120fps, [email protected] at the rear and the front camera is capable of shooting videos up to 1080p/[email protected] It comes with some interesting features such as HDR, Night Mode 2.0, Magic Clone Photos, Long Exposure, Panorama, Short Video, Slow motion, etc.
Under the hood, Redmi Note 10 Pro is equipped with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset that also powered the Poco X3. It is an octa-core 8nm based gaming-centric processor coupled with the Adreno 612 GPU. It would have been better if we got 5G connectivity. Nevertheless, the chipset still rocks. In terms of memory configuration, the phone has three memory configurations: 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB. They use LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. One can expand their storage via the dedicated microSD card slot if you feel the need for it.
On the software front, it runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11.
Redmi Note 10 Pro is fueled with the same gigantic 5,020mAh Li-Polymer Battery same as that of the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. The device comes with 33 W fast charging support and a USB Type-C reversible connector port to juice up the phone. It only takes 75 minutes to charge the phone up to 100%.
Connectivity options of the Redmi Note 10 Pro include Dual SIM slot, 4G, VoLTE, VoWiFi, dual-band WiFi, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, AGPS, Glonass, Beidou, IR blaster, USB Type-C port, IP52-certification for splash resistance, self-cleaning dual stereo speakers, dual microphones, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Regarding network support, the phone misses out on 5G unlike its competitors Mi 10i, Realme GT has it.
Redmi Note 10 Pro is launched at the starting price of INR. 15,999 for the 6GB/64GB variant in India. The smartphone will be available for sale on March 17, 2021, in India. It arrives in three different colors Vintage Bronze, Dark Night, and Glacial Blue. The smartphone is expected to launch in Nepal at around the price of Rs. 26,999 for the base variant. It is likely that the Indian variant will be launched in Nepal at a later time. But will you wait for the phone or buy other phones promptly.
