Xiaomi has launched RedmiBook 15 e-Learning Edition in Nepal. The company has stepped into the laptop market in Nepal with four new laptops. Design and Display
The student-oriented laptop has a polycarbonate (plastic) body. The Redmi branding sits at the back and looks minimal. It weighs around 1.8 kg and is 19.9mm thick. Talking about the ports, it has one charging port, HDMI 1.4, RJ45 (LAN), USB 2.0, SD Card Reader, 3.5mm headphone jack, and two USB 3.2 Gen-1 ports. The keyboard is a scissor-switch keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel. As expected, the keyboard is not backlit.
For display, it boasts 15.6 inches Full HD panel with 1080 x 1920 resolution. Not much information has been provided about the display by the company though.
Intel i3-1115G4 Processor
Powering the core is an Intel i3-1115G4 processor. The silicon is built on 10nm SuperFin technology. It has 2 cores and 4 total threads. The max turbo frequency is 4.10 GHz and the cache size is 6MB. Handling the graphics is Intel UHD Graphics.
The chip is coupled with 8GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and 256GB SATA SSD. But RAM cannot be upgraded though. For connectivity, it supports WiFi 5.0 and Bluetooth 5.0.

Battery and OS
RedmiBook 15 e-Learning Edition boasts a 46Wh battery. For charging, it comes with a 65W power adapter that can charge it 80% in just 53 minutes, the company claims. Also, the battery can last for 10 hours on a full charge.

The laptop is powered by Windows 11 OS, Microsoft Office, and Student Edition 2019. It also comes with Mi SmartShare and DTS Audio Processing App. The company is providing one year of official warranty for the product.
