The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has announced that it will establish its own data center. The board unveiled its plan while releasing its programs & policies for Fiscal Year FY 2080/81 on Sunday, July 30.

SEBON aka Dhitopatra board said that its data center will help with the record management of data and information relating to the share and exchange markets. Additionally, it will also become useful to maintain various systems the board uses and will use in the future, the board said.

The board further adds that the data center will facilitate the effective operation of the Settlement Guarantee Fund to ensure secondary market transactions of the stock exchange.

The board has adopted a policy of linking regulation and supervision with the information technology system.
