Top 5 Startups of South Asia Startup ICT Award 2022 Announced

Top 5 Startups South Asia ICT Award 2022

The top 5 startups of the South Asia Startup ICT Award 2022 have been announced. It is the first time the ICT Award included the new South Asia Startup category in the award’s category.

The category received over 50 applications from the SAARC member countries.  The top 10 startups were already announced but now the remaining 5 will be in contention to win prestigious recognition in Nepal.

Top 5 South Asia Startups for the ICT Award 2022

The top 5 Startups from the South Asia Startup ICT Award 2022 include Borak from Bangladesh, Exam Hub and Magicbit, Poulta Inc. from Pakistan, and Tech4Billion (Chingari) from India.

Borak

Borak is another startup in the top 5 South Asia Startups category. It is a super app from Bangladesh. It provides a combination of services such as ride-sharing, a shop management solution, a wallet service, etc.

Examhub and Magicbit

Examhub is a Sri Lankan startup. It is a gamified examination system. Similarly, Magicbit is another startup from the same country. It is a learning platform that engages students in learning by utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, Programming, and other new technologies. In sum, it is an educational solution.

Poulta Inc.

Poulta Inc. is another top 5 South Asia Startups on the list. It allows farmers to derive the price range of poultry farms, make predictions, and help prevent risks.

Tech4Billion (Chingari)

Tech4Billion or Chingari is an Indian startup. It allows users to make short videos just like TikTok.

The ICT Award is the most popular award in the ICT sector in Nepal which promotes the industry’s remarkable tech and innovations. It is the first time the organizers have included a South Asia Startup category to bring aboard startups from the neighboring countries. The winners of the ICT Award 2022 edition will be announced on December 23.
