Vivo has launched the new 5G smartphone in India. It is the very first smartphone from the brand’s T-series. The smartphone is dubbed as Vivo T1 5G. Vivo T1 5G might also launch here in Nepal. Design/Display
Starting off with the design, the Vivo T1 5G comes with a minimalist design that is trendy and stunning. The smartphone is very slim with 8.25 mm width and weighs only 187 gm. It has a Glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back. The phone is very easy to take in hand & has a smooth comfortable grip. It also has a waterdrop notch at the front that houses a selfie camera. The smartphone is available in two color options namely Starlight Black, and Rainbow Fantasy.
Vivo T1 5G features a 6.58 inches IPS LCD Full HD+ Display panel along with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a higher 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, 83.9 % screen-to-body ratio, 401 PPI density, and more. For biometrics, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Camera
In the camera department, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup with a squarish camera module. It consists of a 50 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2 MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. While on the front, it houses a 16 MP selfie camera along with an f/2.0 aperture that snaps your beautiful selfies.
Now coming to the videography of the smartphone, both the rear and front cameras are capable of recording videos up to 1080P @ 30fps.

As for the performance of the device, Vivo T1 5G is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It is an octa-core chipset based on a 6 nm processing technology that comes with 2 Kryo 660 Gold clocked at 2.2 GHz and 7 Kryo 660 Silver clocked at 1.7 GHz. The device is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has an extended RAM 2.0 feature for an additional RAM of up to 4GB. You also get to expand your storage via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the software front, Vivo T1 5G runs on Android 11 based Funtouch OS 12 on top. The smartphone also features a 5-layer Turbo cooling system with a large cooling surface area of 14,451mm. It has the ability to cool down the core by 10 degrees. So, your phone will not heat unnecessarily.

Vivo T1 5G gets its juices from the massive 5,000mAh battery along with the support for 18W Fast Charging technology. The brand claims that the phone offers 102 hours of music playback, 19 hours of youtube streaming, 25 hours of kindle, and 7.6 hours of gaming. You get a very long lifespan with the battery.

Vivo T1 5G is launched at the price of INR. 14,990 for the base variant, INR. 15,990 for the 6/128GB variant, and INR. 18,990 for the 8GB/128GB variant in India. The smartphone will be available for purchase in India starting February 14th via different online, offline stores & Flipkart. Vivo T1 5G is expected to be priced around Rs. 25,999 for the base variant in Nepal. The phone might launch in Nepal.
