Vivo has finally launched the mid-range Vivo Y21 in Nepal. It is the latest addition to the brand’s popular and growing Y series. The brand also recently launched the Vivo V21e in Nepal. Design/Display
Starting off with the design, the smartphone comes with a very beautiful and trendy design. It has a simple aesthetic design with a 2.5D flat frame. It is a piece of lightweight tech that offers a premium and comfortable hold. The smartphone is about 8 mm thick and weighs only 182 gm. The phone also has a waterdrop notch for the front-facing camera.
Vivo Y21 flaunts a 6.51-inch HD+ Halo Full View Display panel along with a screen resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. It also has an 89 % screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 270 PPI density. For biometrics, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face Wake.
Camera
In the camera department, the smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup. It consists of a 13 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2 MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it houses an 8 MP selfie camera along with an f/2.0 aperture that snaps your beautiful selfies.
Now coming to the videography of the smartphone, both the rear and front cameras are capable of recording videos up to 1080P @ 30fps. It comes with many attractive camera features such as Portrait (basic), Video, Pano, Live Photo, Slow-Mo, Time-Lapse, Pro, DOC, etc.
Performance
As for the performance of the device, Vivo Y21 is equipped with the Mediatek Helio P35 chipset. It is an octa-core chipset based on a 12 nm processing technology that comes with 4 Cortex-A53 that clocks 2.35Ghz and 4 Cortex-A53 clocking up to 1.8Ghz. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM along with an extra 1GB RAM expansion option. The device supports either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. You also get to expand your storage via a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
On the software front, Vivo Y21 runs on Funtouch 11 on top of Android 11.1.

Vivo Y21 comes backed up by the massive 5,000mAh battery along with the support for 18W Fast Charging. It charges via a USB-C port.
