Tuddrom, a rising brand in earphones has bundles of earphones in affordable price range for customers. Among them, Tuddrom SP100 is an interesting earphone with a sporty design. Equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 technology, how does SP100 deliver for its price, Rs.2267 (Dashain Offer)?Based upon a week of usage, here’s my verdict on this Tuddrom SP100 earphone.
This Bluetooth earphone comes with a sporty design to wrap around necks. The wire cable is made out of rubber while the earpiece sports metallic alloy design. Accompanied by magnetic lock of the ear plugs, it feels easy and safe to tie around the neck. The multifunction button, volume up & volume down buttons are located on the same frame. There is also an LED indicator glowing red for low battery & blue for full charge. The mic is located on the backside with ‘Tuddrom’ brand logo.
Even though featuring a plastic frame for holding mic & buttons, the build quality feels sturdy enough to last longer. The metallic alloy earpiece looks strong & durable, featuring Tuddrom Duckling Logo on it. The tactile feedback from the buttons showcases the nice build quality. There is not a neckband type design on this earphone but the simple aesthetics look good enough. Also, the IP X7 rating does protect it from light rainfall & water splashes.
The 6mm drivers of Tuddrom SP100 work pretty well to provide a splendid media experience while listening to the audio, watching Youtube videos or movies. Meanwhile, the Bass is above average given, it’s a Bluetooth earphone. To be honest, decent wired earphones will subsequently produce more bass. Besides that, the audio quality is decent and loud enough. There is also a call alert sound whenever the phone is ringing. This makes it pretty handy to pick up calls. One thing to mention; the earphones produce a beeping sound whenever you put the volume to the highest. It kind of cuts the playing audio for a second. Many wouldn’t like this feature, although it’s set for warning us against high volume.
The mic also works nice enough to make & answer calls. However in a noisy environment, it might not perform too well. Meanwhile, there are 3 earbuds & 3 ear fins to select according to your ear canals structure. Another thing to mention, this earphone is not made for gaming. On online Battle Royale games like PUBG, Call of Duty Mobile, there is almost a one-second delay in sound. Such delay is not favorable for action-packed & fast-paced Battle Royale games.
The battery backup on Tuddrom SP100 is very durable. It takes around 2 hours to charge it from nil to full battery level. The 3.7V/110 mAh Li-Polymer lasts for 8 hours of music playback according to the company. On my usage, I didn’t use it for 8 hours straight but even after using it for 3 days frequently for a couple of hours, there was enough juice to keep it going. I only felt to charge it on the 4th day. Bluetooth 5.0 enables it to connect to two devices simultaneously. The transmission range is also pretty nice. The brand claims it to be 10 meters.
Tuddrom SP100 earphone in my usage has proven to be a decent one with amazing audio output. It excels in quality audio performance for media consumption with 6nm drivers. On the gaming section, it has almost a second delay for PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile etc. Meanwhile, battery backup is good enough to last for 8 hours. Charging takes 2 hours approximately time with its Micro USB port. For the price, it is worth buying for a slight compensation for bass. Also, Tuddrom Nepal is providing discounts, Spotify Subscription offers in this Dashain.
