What is YetiCloud.AI?

YetiCloud.AI is Nepal’s first homegrown, sovereign AI Cloud and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) platform. Created and managed by DataHub Nepal (a major local data center provider), it is designed specifically to help Nepali developers, businesses, researchers, and students build and deploy AI applications locally.

Nepal’s first sovereign AI cloud — access powerful NVIDIA GPUs hosted right here in Kathmandu. Train models, deploy LLMs, run inference, and accelerate research without expensive hardware imports or foreign cloud latency. Built for Nepali businesses, researchers, and developers.

What experts said about YetiCloud AI?

Experts present at the event said that this slogan also highlights the importance of this AI infrastructure. ‘DataHub’, a leading data center and cloud service provider company in Nepal, formally launched YetiCloud.AI.

The founders claim that YetiCloud.AI is Nepal’s first sovereign AI infrastructure and platform.

The US-based “Hosted AI” company is a modern technology service provider working in ‘ Cloud Computing’ and ‘Artificial Intelligence’. Ditlev Bredahl, CEO and co-founder of Hosted AI, said that the launch of YetiCloud is the beginning of a new era for Nepal in terms of AI development.

YetiCloud.AI offering

He said that this organization brings solutions to problems for AI-related workers in Nepal in a timely manner and in a sufficient scope. “AI practitioners in Nepal will now be able to access cloud services in real time and without any limitations in scope at a comparatively cheaper rate and in Nepali currency,” he said during his keynote address. “This is certainly an exciting topic for you, but it is also a matter of pride for me to be able to say this.”

Breadhall said that Nepal is a place full of potential, never colonized, and full of unique natural beauty.

Shubhash Dhakal, Director General of the Department of Information Technology, was also present at the event. He said that the government aims to provide positive support to institutions working in information technology in Nepal.
