Ncell announces the launch of 4G in Pokhara and Damauli from July 1 (Ashad 17), Saturday. With the 4G launch, the fast mobile broadband service is now available in those two cities: Pokhara and Damauli. It was in June 1 that they had launched Ncell 4G in Kathmandu, Banepa, Dhulikhel and Nagarkot.
All Ncell customers in Pokhara and Damauli can now access to fourth generation (4G) / Long Term Evolution (LTE) service. Ncell Private Limited plans to make 4G accessible to 15% of population within 2017. Under the vision to contribute to ‘Digital Nepal’, Ncell expanded the service to western cities: Pokhara and Damauli. The company is officially launching the 4G service in these cities on Saturday (July 1).
“Ncell is committed to deliver on our promise to swiftly expand 4G service, so that the people could reap the benefits and country remains abreast in adoption of new technology. We are happy to officially launch the service to Pokhara and Damauli, as we announced earlier,” said Milan Sharma, corporate communications expert at Ncell.

With the 4G launch, Ncell subscribers of Pokhara and Damauli, having 4G SIM (U-SIM) and 4G compatible handset, are able to experience high speed mobile broadband connectivity. Ncell plans to expand 4G in cities and 3G in rural areas through technology neutrality license.
