After a week of hints and buzz, the authorized distributor for Samsung smartphones in Nepal, IMS Nepal launched the new phone in Galaxy J7 lineup. The phone is named as Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo. The smartphone features dual rear cameras and also has a front flash for improved selfies in low-light conditions. The name derives from its dual camera setup in the back.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The phone features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with HD resolution and a 2.5D curved glass. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Samsung’s custom skin TouchWiz on top.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo is powered by Exynos 7 Series Octa-Core Processor. The phone packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The phone has an octa-core chipset with the processor clocked at 1.6GHz.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy J7 Duo packs a dual camera setup on the back, with a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with an LED flash. On the front, the smartphone has an 8MP camera with f/1.9 aperture and an LED flash.
The J7 Duo comes with a fingerprint sensor that doubles as a home button on the front. The Galaxy J7 Duo supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS. The phone includes a removable 3,000mAh battery.
The phone with the dual camera is launched on 30th of April (Baishak 17) Monday. The phone is priced at Rs. 28,990 here in Nepal and is available in the Samsung outlets all over the country.
