Ncell Private Limited has brought an offer to support people for their communication with friends and family in this COVID-19 lockdown period. Ncell prepaid customers can now use voice calls, SMS and data bundled pack at Rs 5 and pay the charge at a later time.

This bundled pack has been arranged to help customers use their services as they could not recharge their mobile in this crisis period. So, without having enough balance on their mobile, people can communicate using the pack.

Ncell says they have been providing this bundled pack to customers from Friday (April 17).

Ncell bundled pack as a credit?

The pack includes a bundle of 250 MB data, 25 mins voice call (with Ncell network) and 25 SMS (within Ncell network).

Ncell has also put some criteria to be eligible for the bundled pack. They say they will provide the pack to the needy people who have trouble recharging their mobile phones. So, all prepaid customers having a balance of less than Rs 5 can take the pack for their regular communication.

Find a similar offer of Ntc called zero balance package.

Summary of Ncell bundled pack for lockdown

  • Price: Rs 5 (to charge later)
  • Data: 250 MB
  • On-net Voice: 25 mins
  • On-net SMS: 25
  • Validity: 7 days

As per Ncell, there are around 36 lakhs such users who are targetted to benefit from the credit pack. That means those people could not access Ncell service in this one month of lockdown and have a main balance of less than Rs 5. Those customers can activate the pack for their number whereas the usage period is only from 9 PM to 9 AM.

The validity of the bundled voice minutes, data volume and SMS is for 7 days of the activation. Similarly, Ncell only allows the customer with a SIM card older than two months and inactive in this 1-month lockdown to get the bundled pack.

How to activate the bundled credit pack?

To activate the bundled credit pack for the lockdown, Ncell prepaid customers

  • need to dial *9988*55# or *9988# and then you will find the pack inside.

As the bundled voice, data and SMS pack comes as credit, Ncell will deduct the price of the pack from the next recharge. That means they do not take any service charge for this credit. Ncell with its new year offer had also brought a similar kind of credit service facility but it had only data and SMS. Read the Ncell Data, SMS on credit offer>>

Further, Ncell extends the validity of the stay home pack from the current 7 days to 10 days. This Stay home pack of 15 GB was brought to aid the higher volume users especially professionals to use it for their work from home requirements. The cost of the stay home data pack is Rs 293.69. Ncell had brought various offers to facilitate people for the Coronavirus lockdown, including the stay safe offer.
