Ncell brings Special Offer to Students under HISSAN for Online Class

Nepal’s one of the leading mobile networks, Ncell has brought a special offer to attend online classes for students under the HISSAN network. On 29th July, Ncell Private Limited and Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools’ Association Nepal (HISSAN) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). According to it, Students of institutions under HISSAN will be utilizing Ncell’s mobile network services for online classes.

With the start of online classes, people (both the students and teachers) are looking for ways to conduct teaching and learning activities. Keeping this in mind, Ncell has brought a special monthly offer to provide its services at a discounted rate. The offer applies to its services in SIM, Voice, Data pack, SMS, and other services.

Ncell offer to Hissan students:

  • This offer will provide students with a SIM bundled with 20GB data to participate in online classes. The data can be used for applications such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
  • There is a Rs 250 bundle package to get the voice, data, and SMS package which includes.
    • Every day 120 minutes talk time for the call within CUG numbers and 50 minutes of online talk time.
    • 3GB data: 1GB data in 3G/4G + 2GB data in 4G, Find all of the data packs in Ncell.
    • 50 on-net SMS per month.
  • Users can also get Rs 350 for the bundled packages, which excludes all the applicable taxes.
  • Students and teachers need to submit a recommendation letter from HISSAN to get the service.
  • If you are not sure whether you can take the offer or not, consult your institution for the affiliation and recommendation letter.

Ncell and HISSAN’s voice

Pradeep Shrivastava, Chief Commercial Officer of Ncell shares his excitement about the memorandum and collaboration with HISSAN. He further says that it is an opportunity to contribute to thousands of students desiring to learn online through technology and connectivity services.

Furthermore, the President of Hissan, Ramesh Kumar Silwal happily declared that this kind of collaboration during times like this will be of great value to students, teachers, and the entire educational sector of our country.

With the new offer by Ncell, the secondary schools under Hissan will fully benefit from the packages for online classes. The inclusion of higher volume data package for Apps like Zoom, Meet shall help students, teachers for teaching/learning at affordable rates. The additional voice call, SMS bundle creates more value to the users for regular communication. They will also provide the SIM cards in the names of the enlisted institutions or the students as per their choice. So, they can use the same SIM card for online classes and regular mobile services.
