FIFA Football World Cup 2022 Qatar

The remaining matches of the ongoing Football WC 2022, Semi Final, and Final ties are going to be broadcast for free in Nepal. As per the agreement between Media Hub and the broadcasting partner Himalaya TV, the next remaining games will air live for all including viewers who haven’t subscribed to the WC package.

Earlier, Media Hub, the entertainment company with exclusive rights to the tournament agreed with Himalaya TV to allow four important matches to air on TV without a subscription. The news will particularly please Football fans who have had no access to live matches for being without a TV subscription.

Himalaya TV also played the opening ceremony and the match from the tournament.

So far, many without a subscription resorted to streaming links and apps to watch the matches live in Qatar.

Media Hub made the WC 2022 Qatar payment based in Nepal. As a result, those who wanted to watch the matches on their TVs are having to pay Rs 565 (including taxes). Supreme Court also gave a verdict in the company’s favor much to the displeasure of many.

However, the joint bench of Prakash Kumar Dhungana and Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma had given an interim order that Media Hub can charge viewers if it broadcasted four games free of cost. It was also in the agreement in the companies’ documents. So, the next few vital games will be available for all even for those who haven’t activated the package on their TVs.

Those planning to watch Football World Cup 2022 matches on portable devices will likely feel disappointed. Media Hub and companies failed to reach an agreement to air the remaining matches on apps. So, unfortunately, those expecting won’t be able to watch the matches on streaming apps such as NetTV, ViaTV, or others.
