Nepal Prime Minister Office hotline number

The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) has announced a hotline number for the public to hear and solve public grievances regarding government services. The current government, led by Mrs. Sushila Karki, launched the hotline number 9851145045 on Saturday, September 20, 2025, as part of her measures to reach out to the public and ensure good governance.

The government has mentioned that citizens can reach out to the PM’s office via the hotline to report misconduct or delays at government offices and agencies. The hotline number is a Nepal Telecom’s Postpaid number.

“The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers requests service recipients to promptly contact the hotline in the event of any misconduct, including undue delays, negligence, bargaining, demands for bribes, unnecessary harassment, or disrespectful behavior,” the OPMCM notice reads.

The office has strongly endorsed fast and convenient public service delivery. Likewise, it has requested that the public report any case of corruption, delay of service, or any unnecessary difficulties they may face at government bodies.

You may have heard about Hello Sarkar. It’s another government initiative to address public complaints through different ministries and state bodies. But the PM Office’s hotline number provides a direct gateway to communicate the public’s grievances with the PM and her ministers.

Prime Minister Office’s hotline number is a step towards building trust and good governance

The Prime Minister Sushila Karki’s office, using the hotline number, reflects her staunch endorsement of good governance and desire to win public trust. She assumed office on September 12 after the Gen Z protests toppled the previous government led by KP Sharma Oli. Launching the hotline number will help millions of citizens to directly approach the country’s highest executive and report any possible corruption or inefficiency in public services.

Mrs. Karki’s government is expected to curb corruption, misuse of funds, and abuse of power of any sort. The hotline is reflective of her government’s broader goals to ensure good governance, transparency, public inclusion, and accountability.
