iPhone 18 Pro Series Overview
Design and Display
On the outside, both iPhone 18 Pro Max and Pro models share similarities. There’s a raised camera bar on the back to house the Fusion Camera system, while the body has curves in the edges. The body features aluminum frames and front and back made of glass. Both come with IP68 certification for protection from dust and water. Also, take note that Apple has reduced the physical cutout of the Dynamic Island on the front. By doing this, the company now adds more features to it.

But the notable difference is in their traditional statement on the display size. The Pro Max model features a 6.9-inch display while the Pro model comes with a compact 6.3-inches screen. Both have an LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3000 nits of peak brightness. And due to the size difference, the Pro Max model has a resolution of 1320 x 2868 pixels, while it’s 1206 x 2622 pixels for the Pro model. Both phone screens feature an anti-reflective coating to avoid glare.
The phones are offered in four colors: burgundy, glacier blue, silver, and black.
Camera
Both the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max have a triple 48MP Pro Fusion Camera system consisting of the 48 MP main camera, 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48 MP periscope telephoto camera with 4x zoom. The key improvement here is the introduction of a variable aperture on the main camera. It basically gives users more control over lighting and depth of field, which ensures better photos and videos in low-light conditions. On the front, they carry a 24MP selfie camera.
Besides, the camera system also features smart focus tracking, cinematic mode video effects, and improved low-light video. There are new Pro Controls features that offer users more options to tweak lens aperture, shutter speed, etc. for better photography.
Performance
The iPhone 18 Pro models are powered by the all-new Apple A20 Pro processors, a 2nm build with hexa-core configurations. In terms of resources, the Pro models are offered with 12 GB of RAM and storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB of storage options.

At the same time, the phones now boot on iOS 27, Apple’s next-gen OS replacing the current iOS 26 generation software.
Battery
Apple says that both iPhone 18 Pro Models come with improved battery features, although it doesn’t specify their numerical improvements. Anyway, the company says that these phones charge to up to 50% in 15 minutes and support 4.5W reverse wired charging too.
