Starting off with the design, the Apple iPad Pro M2 2022 arrives with the identical design as previous generations. It has rounded corners that follow a beautiful curved design. The tablet comes with two different screen size: 11-inch and 12.9-inch. Apple iPad Pro M2 11-inch 2022 measures 247.6 mm x 178.5 mm x 5.9 mm in dimensions, and weighs 466 grams or 470 grams. iPad Pro M2 12.9-inch 2022 comes with dimension of 280.6 mm x 214.9 mm x 6.4 mm, and weighs 682 grams or 685 grams. It arrives in various color options such as Silver, and Space Gray.

Apple iPad Pro M2 11-inch 2022 flaunts a large 11-inch diagonal LED backlit Multi‑Touch display with IPS technology display, and Liquid Retina display. It has a 2388-by-1668-pixel resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). Whereas the larger 12.9-inch diagonal mini-LED backlit Multi‑Touch display with IPS technology has a Liquid Retina XDR display. It has a 2732-by-2048-pixel resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). Both models support ProMotion technology, Fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, True Tone display, Wide color display (P3), Fully laminated display, Antireflective coating, etc. The 12.9-inch model has up to 1600 nits of peak brightness that kick in during HDR content. On the other hand, the 11-inch model has 600 nits of peak brightness. 

Performance And Memory

Apple iPad Pro M2 2022 is equipped with the Apple M2 chip that is the same as Apple MacBook Air 2022. It has an octa-core CPU with 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. Likewise, it has a 10-core GPU & 16-core Neural Engine. In comparison with its predecessor, it delivers up to 15 percent faster CPU performance and provides up to 35 percent faster graphics performance.

In terms of memory configuration, it is attached with up to 16GB of RAM. On 8GB RAM models, you get options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB storage. Likewise, on 16GB models, there is 1TB or 2TB storage. On the software front, it runs on the new iPad OS 16.

Cameras 

Coming to the optical department of the device, it arrives with the same camera setup as its predecessor. It consists of a 12 MP primary wide camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 10 MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture, and 125° field of view, and a TOF 3D depth LiDAR scanner.

Apple Pencil Hover feature 

It is one of the highlights of the device. You also get the support of the Apple Pencil Hover feature enabled by iPad OS 16. When you use Apple Pencil over the display, due to electromagnetic signals emitted from the tip it detects the pencil up to 12 mm away from the screen. The M2 instantly interprets those signals and determines the position of the Apple Pencil in three dimensions.
