About “Seeds for the Future” program and what students get?
Seeds for the Future is a Huawei’s flagship corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. Its aim is to develop ICT talents and prepare them for a career in the ICT sector. The Chinese firm annually runs this initiative in which, it provides opportunities to select students to get first-hand experience about the current tech and innovation.
“This program is intended for undergraduate Bachelor running students and designed for those interested in innovation, digitalization, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and cultural exchange.”
The program essentially helps students enhance their digital skills, build professional networks, and access opportunities. It offers a platform to gain international exposure, experience, and benefit from cultural exchange. It gives students a chance to get a life-changing experience early on in their pursuit of a career in the digital space.

Who can and how to apply for Huawei Seeds for the Future 2025 Nepal?
Nepali undergraduate students can apply for the Huawei Seeds for the Future 2025 program. The date to apply for the program is between May 08 to May 25 (Baisakh 25 o Jestha 11).
According to Huawei, applicants will be selected through multi-stage evaluation process by a panel of judges.

Top performing students will get a chance to travel to China where they will attend advanced training sessions. They will also be participating in regional competitions. Students will join workshops on cutting-edge tech and innovations and receive mentorship from Huawei experts and international professionals.
During the trip, Nepali students will also have a chance to pitch their entrepreneurial ideas and interact with digital talents from over 100 countries. Therefore, it’s also a sound opportunity for cultural exchange.
Huawei adds that students will also get to know about Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5G network, Green Tech, emerging technologies, etc.
The Seeds for the Future 2025 is the sixth edition of the program from Huawei in Nepal. So far, 150 students from Nepal have participated in this global CSR program.
