The smartphone is a rebranded version of China’s Redmi K40 Gaming Edition that was launched a few months back in China. The smartphone arrives with many impressive specs and features.

Starting off with the design of the smartphone, the Poco F3 GT comes with a unique and spectacular design. It has an aerospace-grade aluminum frame. The display has thin bezels all around which gives it a nice look. The phone has a glass back which gives off a premium feel. Further, there’s also a selfie camera at the front in a centered hole-punch cutout. You also get a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Screen Protection and IP53, dust and splash protection. The phone weighs only 205 gm and is 8.3mm thick.

It consists of a 64 MP primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8 MP Ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree FOV, and a 2 MP depth camera with an f/2.4 aperture. As for graphics, the chipset uses a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.

There is no memory expansion option as it lacks a dedicated microSD card slot. On the software front, the Poco F3 GT runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
Talking about the gaming-centric features, the Poco F3 GT packs a Maglev trigger that the brand likes to call. It arrives with a pop-up mechanism of these triggers that will avoid accidental touch and promise lower latency and better mechanical response. To ensure efficient and faster heat dissipation, the device comprises a vapor chamber cooling and a white graphene heat sink. It also supports HyperEngine 3.0 technology which adds features like ray-tracing.
