Realme has finally launched Realme 9i 5G model in Nepal. The smartphone falls in the midrange segment and comes with a Dimensity 810 5G chipset and a 90Hz LCD panel. Let’s know more about the specs, features, and Realme 9i 5G price in Nepal in this article.
Design and Display
Designwise, Realme 9i 5G looks different from its siblings. It features a shiny back panel which the company calls, “Laser Light Design.” It throws some retro CD vibes onto it. Having a slim body of 8.1mm, the phone weighs 187 grams. On the backside, the cameras arise from the shiny island and look clean. There is a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power key.
Coming to the display, the phone sports a teardrop style FHD+ 6.6-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Having a 400PPI density, it boasts a 180Hz touch sampling rate too. Likewise, the peak brightness is set at 400nits and the display is protected by Panda glass.

Performance
Under the hood, Realme 9i 5G is rocking a Mediatek Dimensity 810 chipset. This 5G silicon is built on a 6nm architecture and has the configuration of an Octa-core (2×2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) processor. For handling gaming and graphics, there is a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU onboard. Likewise, the chip is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Further, the phone boots on Realme UI 3.0 built on top of Android 12. The software also allows virtual RAM expansion up to 5GB on this device.

Camera
Moving on to the optics, the phone sports a triple camera setup. The main camera is a 50MP lens with an f1.8 aperture. And the second camera is a portrait lens having a 2MP resolution for depth sensing. Sadly, the ultrawide lens is disappearing from the midrange phones and there is no exception here as well. So, the third camera is a 4cm macro unit instead. On the front side, you get an 8MP lens for snapping selfies and making video calls.
As far as the modes, Realme is providing Night ModePanoramic view, Pro Mode, Timelapse, Portrait Mode, HDR, Ultra macro, AI Scene Recognition, AI Beauty, Filter, Chroma Boost, Slow Motion, Street mode, Bokeh Effect Control, TextScanner on the camera app.

The phone gets its fuel from a 5000mAh battery. This Lithium Polymer (Li-Po) cell has the support for 18W fast charging. The phone ships with the 18W dart charger bundled in the box and charges via a USB-C port. For connectivity, the phone features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.2, A2DP, LE, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, etc. While there is no NFC, the phone does have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The midrange phone has a good chipset with 5G connectivity. But the LCD panel and 90Hz refresh rate are a kind of a bummer. In this price range, AMOLED displays are muchly appreciable. Rest apart, the specs are okay for the price tag it carries.
