Realme, a well-known brand providing budget devices with cool specs has launched Realme 9i in Nepal. The phone was launched in India some weeks ago. Realme 9i Overview
Design & Display
Realme 9i flaunts an impressive design similar to its premium mid-range sibling Realme GT Neo 2. But the back panel is made of plastic here. The camera module is a rectangular one, housing triple cameras. On the front part, there is a 6.6″ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The display is a Full HD+ resolution with a 180Hz touch sampling rate and boasts a brightness of up to 480 nits. The front panel houses a cutout on the upper left side for the front camera. There is no complaint about the design but the display could have been a lot better with a visually beautiful AMOLED screen.
Camera
For the optics, Realme 9i has opted for an f/1.8, 50MP main camera sensor. While the other two are the typical 2MP + 2MP Depth & Macro Sensors. Sadly, there is no ultrawide camera following the same fate of its predecessor Realme 8i. On the front side, there is a 16MP shooter with an f/2.1 aperture. The main camera could be a decent one but the absence of an ultrawide sensor makes a bummer here.

Performance
For performance & power, Realme 9i is featuring a 6nm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset. This new silicon is however using not so powerful Kryo 265 Gold & Kryo 265 cores. The 6nm architecture is going to be good for battery life. However, the performance might not be that great. Also, it doesn’t support 5G network.
The phone runs on Android 11 on top of Realme UI 2.0. And the storage on this phone is based on UFS 2.2. The available configurations to purchase are 4/64GB & 6/128GB. There is also a dedicated MicroSD slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.

Battery & Other Specs
The device is backed up by a 5000mAh Li-Po battery. For charging, it supports 33W fast charging. Other specs are dual stereo speakers, USB Type-C, Side-Mounted Fingerprint Sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity, Compass, etc.
