Vivo, one of the biggest tech brands in the world, has launched the new smartphones on Vivo S-series in China. The brand has come up with the Vivo S10 series that has two smartphones in the lineup. The lineup currently consists of Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro. The smartphone series arrives with attractive and impressive specs and features. Both smartphones share similar specs and features. So, without further ado let’s know more in detail about Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro Price in Nepal, specs, and availability.
Starting off with the design, the Vivo S10 series offers a slim and flat design. Both of the smartphones share the same design and display. The smartphone has a stylish design and gives a premium vibe. It weighs only 173 grams and has a thickness of 7.29mm which is quite slim. And interestingly, the thickness and weight of these phones vary according to the color variant. The black and lime are 7.29mm where the gradient and white measure 7.43 mm. Vivo S10 series has a rectangular camera module at the rear with three sensors. The series uses a wide notch that houses dual selfie cameras at the front on the top bezel.
Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro flaunt the same large 6.44 inches Super AMOLED Full HD+ display panel along with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen also supports a high refresh rate of 90 Hz. Furthermore, it also offers a 20:9 aspect ratio, 85.9% screen-to-body ratio, HDR10+, 98% NTSC, 409 PPI density, and more. For biometrics, both the smartphones also have an in-display fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock (Software-Based).
Now, turning our attention to the camera features of smartphones. It is the major aspect, where both the phones differ from each other. Both the smartphones sport the triple rear camera setup with a rectangular camera module. Vivo S10 houses the 64 MP primary camera lens whereas the pro variant features a 108 MP ISOCELL HM2 camera as the primary sensor. The other two camera sensors are the same i.e. 8 MP ultrawide lens with 120-degree FOV and a 2 MP macro sensor.
On the front, both the smartphones feature a dual-camera setup with a 44 MP primary sensor with AF accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens with 105-degree FOV. As for the videography, both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording videos up to [email protected], [email protected], gyro-EIS.
Under the hood. Both the smartphones are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1100 5G chipset. It is an octa-core chipset based on TSMC’s 6nm fabrication process that clocks up to a maximum frequency of 2.6GHz. For graphics, it has the ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. In terms of memory configuration, both the phones are attached up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Sadly you don’t get an external MicroSD slot to expand your memory.
On the software front, Both the smartphones run on OriginOS based on Android 11 out of the box.
Now talking about the battery prowess of the Vivo S10 series, both the phones boast a large Li-Po 4,050mAh battery. It also comes with the support of 44 W fast charging technology.
The connectivity features are 5G (sub-6GHz), Dual Nano-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.2, A2DP, LE, aptX HD, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, NFC (Pro Variant), USB Type-C, USB On-The-Go, loudspeakers, etc. Unfortunately, we don’t get a 3mm audio jack on our smartphones.
Vivo S10 is launched at the price of 2,799 Yuan for the base 8GB/128GB storage variant and 2,999 Yuan for the 12GB/256GB storage variant in China. On the other hand, the Vivo S10 Pro is priced at only 3,399 Yuan for the 12GB/256GB storage variant in China. The pre-order for the series started on the 15th of July and will be available for purchase starting from 23rd July in China. The Vivo S10 series is available in four different color variants Fluorite Black, Limes, Gradient, and Velvet White. For now, the smartphone series is only available in China and is expected to launch globally soon. If launched, Vivo S10 is expected to be priced around Rs. 55,999 for the base variant and Vivo S10 Pro is expected to be priced around Rs. 65,999 in Nepal.
