Vivo has launched its latest Y series phone, the Vivo Y77 5G in China. As the name implies, the phone gets a 5G chipset, Mediatek Dimensity 930. Coming with a 6.64-inch 120Hz IPS LCD panel and dual camera, let’s know more about the features, specs, and Vivo Y77 5G price in Nepal (Expected).
Beginning off with the design, Vivo V77 5G boasts a glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back body. It weighs 194 grams. There is a punch-hole notch screen on the front side with a thicker chin at the bottom. The rear side looks to flaunt a rectangular camera module housing two cameras. You also get a 3.5mm headphone jack on this phone.
Now coming to the display, the phone sports a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution (2388×1080 Pixels). There is a 120Hz refresh and 240Hz touch sampling rate on this screen. The punch hole display has 395 PPI and a screen-to-body ratio of 85.8%.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 930 5G chipset based on 6nm architecture. This mid-range silicon has the configuration of Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55). On the graphics side, there is an IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. To compare, this chip is a bit better than Snapdragon 732G. And the phone is available under two storage configurations; 128GB and 256GB coupled with 6/8/12GB of RAM. It boots on Origin OS Ocean 12 built on top of Android 12.
The phone sports a dual-camera setup on the rear side. The primary shooter is a 50MP lens with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. It can capture videos up to 1080p at 30fps. While the second camera is a 2MP macro unit with an f/2.4 aperture. Sadly there is no ultrawide camera here as per the recent trend. On the front side, there is an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. As the main lens, it can shoot up to 1080p at 30fps.
The device packs in a 4500mAh Li-Po battery which supports 80W fast charging. Vivo has provided the 80W charger bundled in the box. Talking about other specs, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power key. It charges via a USB Type C port and other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.1, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, QZSS, etc.
The expected Vivo Y77 5G price in Nepal is Rs.30,000 for the 6/128GB. The official price of Vivo Y77 5G in China is CNY 1499 (6/128GB), CNY 1599 (8/128GB), CNY 1799 (8/256GB), CNY 1999 (12/256GB).

The phone seems to be a good offering in the midrange segment. An AMOLED display would have been a lot better alongside the inclusion of an ultrawide camera. If it launches in Nepal, Vivo should get the pricing right in order to compete against, Xiaomi, Realme, and Samsung.
