Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 12S Ultra alongside Xiaomi 12S & Xiaomi 12S Pro in an online event. The top-of-the-line flagship boasts some premium features like a Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and more. Xiaomi 12S Ultra Overview

Design and Display

Starting off the design, Xiaomi 12S Ultra boasts the most premium design among its siblings. The phone sports a Glass, Alloy plus Ceramic Body. The front side houses a punch hole panel with Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The frame is aluminum while the back panel gets eco-friendly leather. Also, the camera module is a circular one with a rectangular backdrop. The volume rockers and power key are placed on the right side typically.

For the display, Xiaomi 12S Ultra has a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 2K (WQHD+) resolution and a 120Hz fast refresh rate. Featuring an LTPO 2.0 tech, the refresh rate varies on the contents on the screen, from 1Hz to 120Hz. The screen has 522PPI and is also certified by HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision for rich HDR content. Performance

It is an octa-core processor based on the 4nm process. The processor offers a 10 percent better CPU performance, 10 percent faster GPU performance, & 20 percent higher energy efficiency.

In terms of memory configuration, the chipset is attached with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage onboard. Whereas on the software front, the device runs on MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box based on Android 12 OS.
