Ripple To Pioneer A Fresh Gaming Laptop Revolution!

Ripple is a Nepali OEM laptop brand based in Kathmandu. The startup company is set to send ripples in Nepali laptop markets with “all types of laptops” at cost-friendly values. As the gaming scene is evolving in Nepal, the company seeks to cash in and become the pioneer of a fresh laptop revolution.

The start-up company is embarking on an ambitious project to motivate Nepali gaming enthusiasts with premium and cost-efficient laptops. It believes establishing an effective supply chain management and the local production of the integrated system will help reduce the prices of the high-end gaming laptops and thus curate the value for money laptops to Nepali gamers and professionals.

As the gaming and IT industry are rapidly booming in Nepal, fuelled even further by COVID-19 lockdown, Ripple could see its market value rise soon in the future. But it also needs to sustain its business strategies of premium variants as cost factor will be its key ingredient to lure the customers.

Check out: Smartphone vs Laptop; which one to prefer?

Ripple’s Two Variants

The two variants are aimed at two sets of buyers. The standard model Ripple Artifact is a fully customizable laptop that comes with a good spec sheet. It could be very useful for students and business professionals who may need it for basic browsing, and document works.

Meanwhile, its top tier, Ripple Artifact Pro is the premium gaming beast, that comes loaded with high-end features like any other foreign product. It stands on the same footing as any foreign product with excellent specs in and out.

Check our general review of both variants below.

Ripple Artifact: Standard Variant

Ripple Artifact sports a large 15.6-inch FHD IPS display with a 144Htz refresh rate. As for power, it comes with a solid Intel i5-10300H processor under the hood that can handle all the basic operations as well as some mid-range graphic works. The laptop packs a durable Nvme 256GB Solid State Drive and has an option of RAM up to 32GB.

To meet the graphic needs, it possesses a respectable GeForce GTX 1650Ti graphics with 4GB of VRAM, which is more than enough despite it being an lower-tier.

As it is a customizable laptop, the buyers have an option to downgrade or upgrade the internals to their needs. They could also choose the operating system between Windows or Linux.

Ripple Artifact Pro: The Gaming Variant

Ripple Artifact Pro is the premium variant that comes with top-notch specs for gaming enthusiasts. The company has gone at length to give it’s premium variant the treat it deserves with exciting features and unique design language.

For display, the premium version retains the same design as its standard model, a large 15.6” Full HD IPS display with a 144 Hz screen refresh rate.

As for power performance, it is backed by an AMD Ryzen7 4800H processor under the hood which can handle all the loads of gaming or software writing demands. In terms of graphics, the laptop houses a powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 with 6GB of GDDR6 that is perfectly capable of running high-end games without lags.

Ripple has incorporated the high-performance 2x DDR4 SO-DIMM memory in it that makes a multitasking breeze sparing the laptop of any lags or glitches.

If you had any concerns, Ripple’s gaming variant won’t let you down at all. The graphic configuration of this laptop lets you play a high-end game at full HD resolution at 60 FPS, while it can also achieve a decent 4K gaming experience at 30FPS.

Ripple is not taking any chance with its premium variant and filled it with upper-tier specs. Those who want a laptop for gaming laptop or software development can easily opt for this model without a second thought.

Prices and Availability

Although the prices start at the given value, they will be subject to a higher or lower amount depending on the specs and variant customers prefer.

You can book the laptop variants on Ripple’s Facebook page.

Our Verdict

Although a start-up venture, Ripple’s has kicked off with a high bar for its productivity. The two variants are targeted at two sets of customers with very compatible specs to meet their utilities. If you were looking for a new laptop at the moment, you can certainly bet your money on home brand Ripple.
