The DTH service provider DishHome has brought 25Mbps fiber net for incredibly low cost at Rs.233. DishHome becomes the first company to announce a revised internet package following CG Net’s jaw-dropping 120Mbps net offering recently.
The price war has ensued among ISPs in Nepal and it was expected. Dish Home is now the first company to step in and draw headlines away from CG net’s own affordable pack.
Dish Home has begun its new offering of the cheapest 25Mbps next-gen fiber net at just Rs.233. DishHome’s move reflects the panic felt by existing ISPs after CG Net debuted with the game-changing 120Mbps fiber net at just Rs.999. Check out details of Chaudhary Group’s CG Net Internet.
This generous offer from DishHome now allows its users to access next-gen fiber internet of 25Mbps for as low as Rs.233 which in itself is the most affordable cost yet in Nepal.
While the cost of the standard 25Mbps internet sounds irresistible, you have to take it with a grain of salt.

The eye-catching cheapest internet offering from Dish Home comes with some quibbles. This offer is exclusively available to DishHome’s premium customers.
According to Ramesh Sapkota, the General Manager of DishHome, the 25Mbps fiber net for a minimal Rs.233 is only for those who have DishHome service installed at their home. He also revealed, the customers also must have a Lifestyle HD Package subscription to be eligible for the extra-affordable internet package.
If you are not a DishHome customer, then you can not benefit from this package. However, you can become its new customer and subscribe to the Lifestyle HD package to gain access to this budget-friendly internet package.
The General Manager further added, “The Lifestyle HD Package costs Rs. 600. Customers with this package can add Rs. 233 and enjoy the next-gen fiber net service.”
Lifestyle HD Package is DishHome’s most premium package that offers all of its HD and SD channels.
The leading DTH provider DishHome which has launched its fiber net service last year in Kathmandu has now widened a 90% coverage within the capital.
DishHome’s fiber net is also available in Hetauda, Itahari, and Inaruwa. The GM has said they are expecting to widen the service across all the major cities by the end of this year.
CG Net’s debut with a benchmark package of 120Mbps for Rs.999 has drawn headlines everywhere. Social media at the moment is filled with praise, adulation, and curiosities at CG Net’s aggressive price range.
Many have gone vocal at how they have been ripped off by the existing ISPs with their costs. Chaudhary Group has certainly forced ISPs under the hot water. Pressure his mounting on them to make a response with proportionate offers themselves to appease their dissatisfied customers base.
Calls for lower internet prices have long echoed but they have fallen on deaf ears. ISPs have largely pointed at the government’s tax policies to justify their prices on internet packages. However, CG Net’s highly affordable fiber net solution has prompted a lot of questions on existing ISPs and even raises moral questions.
DishHome has timely responded with its most affordable cost for its users and it will likely push other ISPs to follow the path.

Now is the high time for ISPs to address customers’ concerns with tenacity flexibility. CG has proved that a high bandwidth package at a cheaper rate is possible and ISPs can’t risk away from revising their own pricing strategies.
All in all, the price war has begun and it will benefit the customers in the end with better service at a lower price. Let’s hope Nepali customers will receive such news from other ISPs soon.
