eSewa encouraging digitalization

As we approach the end of the fiscal year 2020/21, most people are engaged in paying their remaining installments within this month. It is the time when the banks are crowded with people standing in long queues for their turn. But this time, the circumstances are not appropriate to get in a crowd.

Moreover, digital transformation also needs encouragement. Subhash Sapkota, the CEO of eSewa, says that this offer aims to promote digitalization as well as facilitate an easy payment system of loans during the pandemic situation. Do Read: How to use a Mobile wallet in Nepal?

With this service, eSewa focuses on providing various services free of cost. Since the users have to pay an additional charge other times for the same transactions, this offer sacks the need of paying that extra money. In a few steps, the users can perform various governmental and non-governmental tasks without visiting the head offices.

Besides, paying bank installments, the users can bank transfer the amount in eSewa. It means no extra charge will add up while paying bank installments or sending money to any member bank or financial institution.

Also, you can use eSewa to pay insurance premiums, pay for mobile, telephone, internet, electricity and drinking water charges, recharge, airplane, bus ticket, school and college fees.

Similarly, eSewa currently has links with around 50 banks and financial institutions. So, you can easily send and deposit money to and from these banks for free.
