Prominent ISP Vianet has opened its branch in Parwanipur and Simara in the Bara district. Extending the company’s fiber broadband service to new areas of Madhesh Province, it seeks to provide affordable internet and IPTV for new customers.

The opening of the branch marks the company’s entry to two new affluent areas in Tera. The company says its services will be available for both residential and corporate users.

Likewise, the new customers in Parwanipur and Simara will benefit from various affordable packages of Vianet.

Since June, Vianet has upgraded its internet service. By launching its packages under the Ultra-Fi internet packages, the company has elevated its customer services with both high-speed broadband and IPTV (ViaTV) services. The digital TV includes over 175 channels covering all popular ones in Nepal.

Promotional packages for first-time subscribers

Sharing the joy of its launch in the two new areas, Vianet has announced promotional packages for its new customers. If the context fits you, it is the right time to subscribe to a Vianet internet package.

Under the promotional offer, Vianet is providing a free opening offer of the Ultra-Fi package for 4 months. New subscribers will get internet, WiFi device, and a primary ViaTV Set Top Box (STB) installation for free.

The promotional offer is valid only for a limited duration on an Ultra-Fi subscription.

Being a technophile, I am particularly fascinated by the evolution of mobile networks in Nepal from legacy networks (2G, 3G) to 4G (with VoLTE, VoWiFi, eSIM) and the prospects of the upcoming 5G, and equally enthralled by the development of internet from the dial-up connection to the 2 Gbps XGS-PON fiber broadband technology and their transformative impact in the country.
