InfoDevelopers ICT Award 2022 has announced the best 5 in three different categories for this year’s awards. The candidates were selected after 3 rounds of selection in the Startup ICT Award, Product ICT Award, and Rising Star Innovation ICT Award categories.
Earlier, on Kartik 26th, the best 12 contestants from the category delivered a presentation and speed dating session in from of 12 judges.
The top 5 Startup finalists selected are Cura Health, Monal Tech, Pick and Drop, Red Tail Fox, and Ringaze Tech.
Similarly, the best 5 products in the Product ICT Award are Bihe Nepal, FinPOS, Galli Maps, Tigg, and Bhairav Trident.
The organizers also selected the top 5 innovations in the Rising Star Innovation ICT Award category. They are Ask Mattrab, Autonomous Eagle Eye UAV, Karobar App, Neptou, and Saarang.

As per the chairman of the organizing committee, Razan Lamsal, the pitching and grand jury session of the competition will be broadcasted on Kantipur Television later this year.
The top 5 contestants’ fate will now go into public voting available through IME Pay and Sparrow SMS.
Organizing committee member Sushil Pokharel informed that the best will be chosen on the basis of jury selection, public voting, demo, and company observation.
The Public Choice ICT Award 2022 for the top 12 startups, products, and rising star innovations will also be open with voting. Organizer Living with ICT said that Public Voting will commence from Friday 9th Mangsir to 29th of Mangsir.
The selection process for various categories is ongoing
In the meantime, the selection process is ongoing for the Pioneer, Entrepreneur, Woman Icon, and Nepali Diaspora ICT Award categories. Digital Education ICT Award, Digital Governance ICT Award, and Digital Services ICT Award are also part of the categories. Various stages of selection processes have been going on for the past 3. The awards will be presented in 13 categories. There was a startup fest on the 18th and 19th of Kartik with the participation of hundreds of startups.
This year, the award also includes a new category South Asia Startup ICT Award 2022 that aims to promote startups from South Asian countries. The organizer has received more than 50 nominations from 7 different countries in this category. Jury coordinator Hempal Shrestha shared that the selection process for the winner of this category is conducted with experts from different countries. The best 5 South Asian startups will come to Nepal for the grand finale.
The grand finale of the ICT Award 2022, in association with Nepal Telecom and Genese, powered by Huawei and Smart QR, organized by Living with ICT, will take place on the 8th of Poush at The Soaltee Kathmandu. The program will be live on various television, online, and apps.

There are two methods of public voting – through IME Pay and Sparrow SMS. Remember that you can only vote for one candidate in one category from one ID per day.
