Nepal’s leading AI telephony service provider TingTing has launched its four new products via a virtual product launch. The company has released TingTing Voice, TingTing Text, TingTing Forms, and TingTing Agent, which aim to boost the efficiency and productivity of enterprises.

The company launched all these products at an event called TinTing Next, and it claims to have kick-started a new era in Nepal’s technology sector. It says that its new AI products set a new benchmark in the country’s IT ecosystem.

Ting Ting’s concept is to address problems businesses face. As they expand, their intimate relationship with customers weakens, and communication is limited to data.

“The biggest challenge in modern business is not communication, but understanding the customer,” the company says.

While most technologies focus on how a company speaks, TingTing says it has developed its systems with how a company understands its customers at the center.

This launch signals a journey from simple automated systems to ‘human-AI amplification’, where no customer’s voice will be lost in the clutter of data.

TingTing’s new products come after a while of the government approving the National AI Policy. With the ICT sector flourishing year after year, the AI industry is also likely to see growth in leaps and bounds. It will boost the productivity of users, businesses, and the government, too.

  • Tingting Voice: At the core of TingTing’s latest AI product suite is Riri. It’s a text-to-speech engine, all made in Nepal. The product leveraged the company’s own data foundry to materialize local accents, emotions, and linguistic attributes. Riri’s specialty is that it communicates in a lifelike native Nepali voice and doesn’t sound robotic and foreign.
  • TingTing Text: TingTing Text is integrated with Nepal’s largest SMS infrastructure. It can be efficiently used to disseminate public information, service updates, and notifications in a timely and reliable manner to millions.
  • Tingting Forms: TingTing Forms elevates the digital way of collecting user data. It enables users to express their thoughts through voice. Then, the AI converts the spoken Nepali words into organized and actionable data. It removes the need to collect physical or even digital forms and uses AI to handle form collection.
  • Tingting Agents: TingTing Agents is another key highlight from the company’s latest AI product launch. It enables natural two-way communication, replacing old-fashioned menus such as ‘press 1 for support.’

The company states that the ability to understand Nepali language, accent, intent, and realize the emotion and respond in less than 200 milliseconds transforms the customer experience to a new level.

A new leap in technology

TingTing says that bringing AI-powered world-class products to Nepal is a major leap in the technology sector. The company has proven that developing world-class and reliable AI technology is possible in Nepal through a distributed architecture that can scale to billions, high security standards, and a platform with self-healing capabilities.

It says that a strong foundation has been formed for local AI to flourish.

With the milestone launch of its AI products, TingTing has urged Nepali enterprises to rise above traditional service practices and adopt AI-powered and efficient methodologies to enhance their businesses and customer service.
