The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors has approved financing of $50 million for the digital transformation of Nepal. The financial support comes under the project officially titled “Nepal Digital Transformation Project”. The amount will be used to improve the infrastructure that is in the public domain and to convert traditional public services dto igital.
The project will contribute to promote digital Nepal vision. The government has taken the initiative of transforming the country with the latest tech and innovation, and even formulated a Digital Nepal Framework.
