Honor makes its way back into Nepal after some years. The Huawei-backed company has launched the Honor X9 in Nepal. The newly appointed distributor, Celtron Nepal has brought the X series lineup. Coming with a Snapdragon 680 chip onboard, Honor X9 is a mid-range offering from the company. In this article, let’s know about specs, features, and Honor X9 price in Nepal.
The other phones in the Honor X series are Honor X7 and Honor X8.
Honor X9 boasts a similar design language to its X series siblings. It has a circular camera module on the back with a ‘Matrix’ named logo in the middle. And Honor branding sits below at the rear panel. Upfront, there is a punch-hole cutout screen. The fingerprint scanner is embedded in the power key. Sadly, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack on this phone. The bottom side houses a USB-C port, speaker grills, and SIM slot.
Talking about the display, the Honor X9 sports a 6.81-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels and 385 PPI density. Having a screen-to-body ratio of 94%, it has a bigger chin on the bottom.
Powering the core is a Snapdragon 480 chipset. The 6nm node-based silicon is a 4G chip and has the configuration of Octa-core 4×2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo 265 Silver Cores. Handling the graphics is Adreno 610 GPU. Talking about the OS, the phone boots on Magic UI 4.2 built on top of Android 11.
The phone houses a quad-camera setup on the rear side. The primary sensor is a 64MP f/1.8 lens followed by an 8MP Ultrawide unit with an f/2.2 aperture. And the remaining lenses are 2MP+2MP macro and depth cameras. For videos, Honor X9 can shoot only up to 1080p at 30fps resolution. Upfront there is a 16MP selfie shooter with an f/2.5 aperture. It can also shoot up to 1080p at 30fps.

The device gets its juice from a 4800mAh cell. It supports 66W fast charging and according to the company, it can charge 0 to 81% in just 30 minutes. For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, and Bluetooth 5.1, etc.
The Honor X9 price in Nepal is Rs. 38,490 for the 8/128GB variant. The phone is available for sale in all the official and authorized Honor stores & shops in Nepal. It is also available in Daraz Online Shopping.

The phone looks good with a new design but the chip could have been a more powerful one in the 30K plus market. Also, the camera might perform well, considering Huawei’s past records of optics.
