The ICT Award 2025 has announced semifinalists in four major categories after the second round of selection. In Category A, the Startup and Product categories have each selected their Top 12, and Rising Star Innovation, while the Social Innovation categories have announced their Top 13 semifinalists.
Their selection followed review from 14 expert jury members who assessed documents, websites, systems, and applications. The digital evaluation system in their review. The selected candidates are now through to the next phase. These semifinalists will now participate in pre-events, mentoring sessions, speed dating, and grand jury presentations to determine the top 5 finalists in each category.
The organizer of the program, Living with ICT, says that in the above four categories, it received 300 online nominations.
In the first stage, the organizer shortlisted the applications, and within 15 days, the jury announced the semifinalists for the grand jury round. The Category B (Individual Awards) nominations remain open, and under Category C (Institutional Awards), the evaluation process is ongoing.
At the same time, the nomination process for the South Asia Startup and Province Startup Recognition, aimed at startups from South Asian countries, is in the final phase.

After their selection, the semifinalists will participate in the Startup and Idea Fest, mentoring, jury sessions, and the grand finale. Their pitching sessions will be featured in five special television episodes.
There are different selection processes in the ICT Award for different categories. Under the Category B (Individual Awards) are the Pioneer ICT Award, Entrepreneur ICT Award, Nepali Diaspora ICT Award, and Woman Icon ICT Award
Category C (Institutional Awards) comprises the Digital Education ICT Award (Public Sector), Digital Education ICT Award (Private Sector), Digital Governance ICT Award, and Digital Services ICT Award.
Jury members for ICT Award 2025
For the ICT Award 2025, the selection committee includes 14 jury members from Nepal. There are 4 jury members from abroad, and a 15-member distinguished advisory committee.
