Ncell has announced that it will distribute 2,428 educational kits to students as part of its 4 for 4s campaign in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2 (2025). The telco’s CSR wing, Ncell Foundation, is heading this initiative.
Ncell is the powered by partner for NPL 2025 and is also continuing its corporate social responsibility (CSR). Under this 4 for 4s initiative, the private telco will provide four educational kits from government and community schools for every boundary (4s) scored in the NPL 2025 tournament. The candidates are chosen from across Nepal, but with emphasis on those who are in remote and rural areas.
The educational kits include bags, notebooks, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, etc.
The telco uses this campaign to promote community service and connect it with the excitement of cricket. According to the company, it will provide educational materials to students from government and community schools. It says that the initiative aims to make a meaningful impact on younger learners.
Ncell provides kits to students after NPL 2 concludes
The NPL season 2 saw a total of 607 boundaries hit by 99 different players. This ensures 2,428 educational kits from Ncell to the students from community schools in rural and remote parts of the country. Speaking of the top hitters, Adam Rossington from Pokhara Avengers shot 31 fours for 124 educational kits. D Arcy from Lumbini Lions contributed with 104 kits through his 26 boundaries. Binod Bhandari from Sudurpaschim Royals played his part for 92 kits with his 23 boundaries.

“We would like to extend our heartiest congratulations and gratitude to all the players who contributed to this meaningful social initiative. Their performances not only strengthened their teams on the field but also expanded support for education beyond the boundary lines,” said Bishakha Laxmi, Corporate Communications and Sustainability Director at Ncell. “Like last year, we will be distributing these educational kits in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure they reach students from the government schools who need them the most.”
In addition, the telco also provided cash prizes to the players for their strong performances during the tournament. Players with a maximum of 4s in each match in NPL 2 were awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000. Adam Rossington from Pokhara Avengers was awarded a cash prize of Rs 200,000 for scoring the highest number of fours.

Ncell on 4 for 4s NPL initiative

Ncell will coordinate with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), local bodies, and stakeholders to provide educational kits to the rightful students.
In the inaugural NPL season, the telco distributed over 2600 kits for 653 boundaries. So, even with this NPL in 2025, every 4 means students will get a relishing gift from Ncell.
