The company had been lacking in the camera department on its previous devices. Finally, the brand has listened to its user and upgraded its camera performance. Oneplus has teamed up with Hasselblad to enhance the optical features of the OnePlus 9 series smartphones. OnePlus 9 Pro Performance
Powering the smartphone is the same Flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G Processor as that of OnePlus 9. It is a 5 nm based processing technology chipset comprising the ARM Cortex-X1 performance CPU that works at 2.84GHz, three big Cortex-A78 that peaks at 2.4GHz, and four Cortex-A55 low power CPU that clocks at 1.8GHz. It also comes equipped with powerful Adreno 660 GPU graphics.
Talking about memory configuration it is attached with either 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and internal storage options of 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1. Sadly, there’s no external card slot for memory expansion. The OnePlus 9 Pro runs on OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 globally and comes with ColorOS 11 in China.
Gaming features
OnePlus 9 Pro employs OnePlus Cool Play, a dedicated, multi-layered gaming-grade cooling system that keeps the internals of the device extra cool. The display supports the 360Hz touch sampling rate for the select few gaming titles namely PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Brawl Stars thanks to OnePlus’s “Hyper Touch”. It helps to improve your reaction times. It also features a Pro Gaming mode that blocks apps and calls notifications when you are playing games.
Battery and Others
I am not quite impressed with the OnePlus 9 Pro’s battery prowess. It comes with a respectable 4,500 mAh dual-cell battery along with support for Warp Charge 65T fast charging. But the company could have provided a bigger battery backup for a pro variant. It comes with a 50 W wireless charging that is a huge improvement compared to the OnePlus 8 Pro’s 30 W wireless charging. As per OnePlus’s claims, the smartphone takes only 29 minutes to go from 0% to 100% and the device completely charges wirelessly within 43 minutes. So, use your phone without any worries about battery drainage.
