Design and Display
Oppo A3 comes with a thickness of 7.7 mm featuring a posh finish. The design is accentuated by a rectangular bar that houses a dual-camera setup next to an LED flash.
Despite being an affordable phone, it manages to look classy thanks to less adornments and more real estate. The phone comes with military-grade shock resistance which keeps the device unaffected from minor falls.
Likewise, the phone’s display consists of a 6.67-inch IPS screen, an FHD+ resolution, and a decent 90 Hz refresh rate. The device reaches a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. These are good and standard display features found in most phones under Rs 30,000.
Performance
Oppo A3 is released with different processors in different markets. In China, it comes with Snapdragon 695 chipset while the one launched in Nepal is powered by a newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 rocking an 8-core architecture. The chipset is paired with an Adreno 610 GPU.
Additionally, Oppo has featured 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM with either 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable via a microSD slot. The phone ships with ColorOS 14.0 which is based on Android 14 software.
Camera
For photography, the Oppo A3 comes with a dual-camera setup- a 50 MP main wide camera accompanied by a flicker sensor. The front has a 5 MP selfie camera resting on top in the middle. You can use the Dual-View Video feature capturing videos from both back and front cameras.
Battery and connectivity
Like most Android phones, Oppa A3 comes with a powerful battery- 5,100mAh and 45W fast charging. The phone supports 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc.

Our verdict
Oppo A3 is a budget phone that won’t break your bank. But still, you get some commendable features. Personally, I liked that the phone comes with at least 6 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. Midrange phones are extremely popular in Nepal and these are pushing the limits with each lineup. Except for an IPS LCD display, pretty much all other specs on the Oppo A3 offer decent value for the price it costs.
