Poco C31 Overview
Poco C31 is the successor to the Poco C3 that was launched a year back in Nepal. The smartphone comes with almost the same specs and features as its predecessor.
Design/Display
Starting off with the design, the smartphone is very similar to its predecessor Poco C3. Identical to the other entry-level smartphones, it also has a polycarbonate body with a dual-tone pattern design. The smartphone is about 9 mm thick and weighs only 194 gm. The phone also has a waterdrop notch at the front for selfie cameras. There‘s also Poco branding just below the rear cameras.
Poco C31 flaunts a 6.53-inch IPS LCD HD+ Display panel along with a screen resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. It also has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 81.0% screen-to-body ratio, and 269 PPI density. For biometrics, it comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and Face-unlock.
Camera
In the camera department, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup with a square camera module. It consists of a 13 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2 MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it houses a 5 MP selfie camera along with an f/2.2 aperture that snaps your beautiful selfies.
Now coming to the videography of the smartphone, both the rear and front cameras are capable of recording videos up to 1080P @ 30fps.

As for the performance of the device, Poco C31 is equipped with the Mediatek Helio G35 chipset same as its predecessor. It is an octa-core chipset based on a 12 nm processing technology that comes with four Cortex-A53 clocked at 2.3 GHz and four Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.8 GHz. It is coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and supports either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. You also get to expand your storage up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the software front, Poco C31 runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10.
