Realme has set its own introduction in the smartphone market. The company tries to push the limits on mid-range and budget phones. It has always been the company’s philosophy to provide the best design and specs in a budget-midrange smartphone. Well, this time around the company has launched its all-new Realme X7 and X7 Pro premium mid-range smartphones in China. Realme X7 and X7 Pro price in Nepal is expected to start from Rs. 35,000. One of the main highlights of these phones is that they have 5G network support. Let’s learn more about these amazing devices.
Realme X7 flaunts a 6.4-inches AMOLED 120Hz display with a resolution of 1080x2400p. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8%. As for the Pro model it has a 6.5-inch AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate display with the same resolution. It has a screen to body ratio of 91.6%. Both display are from Samsung and boasts a punch-hole at the top left corner. In-display fingerprint sensors are featured on both as well. The Pro model rocks Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection whereas the Non-Pro Model only rocks Corning Gorilla Glass.
The design of both phones is pretty similar. The rear panel of the phone is quite shiny and glossy but the Pro Model has a gradient finish. It is eye-pleasing to see such finishes. On the top left side of the rear panel, we can see a rectangular camera module and a company logo at the bottom left. The dedicated power button is placed at the right edge and the volume rockers at the left edge. Type-C reversible connector, speaker grill, and a SIM Tray is placed at the bottom.
Both models feature the same Quad camera setup. They come with a 64MP Main sensor, 8MP Ultra-Wide sensor, 2MP Retro Portrait lenses, and 2MP Macro lens. This setup is able to record videos in 4K at 30/60fps, 1080p at 30/60fps, 1080p at 120fps and 720p at 240fps. It also has support to UIS Max video Super Anti-Shake and other photography features. Super dark video, video portrait color retention, Super Night Scene 4.0, background Blur, Super text, Portariat distortion correction, etc are the modes packed in it.
32MP front camera sensor is confined at the punch- hole of both phones. This sensor snaps ultra-clear selfies. It is able to shoot videos in 1080p at 30/120fps and 720p at 30fps.Portrait Blur, Super Night Scene, Portrait distortion correction, Beauty Mode, etc are also embedded into the setup.
Realme X7 is equipped with Mediatek Dimensity 800U chipset while the Pro model has equipped with Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ chipset. Both phones are the first phones to feature a Dimensity chipset. Mali-G77 GPU is fitted on both phones to handle gaming and high graphics work. All this hardware are further supported by 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and runs on Realme UI based Android 10 OS.

To further enhance the performance, the company has featured Gaming-grade VC liquid-cooling system in Realme X7 Pro. On top of this HyperBoost Gaming Mode is present on both phones. As for storage, both phones offer 128GB or 256GB of space to store stuff. There’s no option for storage expansion via MicroSD card slot or anything else.
Realme X7 packs a 4300mAh battery whereas the Pro model packs a 4500mAh battery. Both models support 65W SuperDart Charging technology which can charge the battery from 0%-100% in just 35 minutes. The company claims that with just 3 minutes of charge you can go up to 55 minutes of usage.
As for connectivity, both phones come with all the common options. But the absence of a 3.5mm traditional jack may worry some. Other than that you get, Type-C Reversible Connector, Dolby Atoms Stereo Dual Speakers, Dual Mic Noise reduction, Multifunctional NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, and other all common sensors found on a smartphone. Realme X7 series has already been launched in its home market ‘China’. The X7 series will be going on sales starting from September 7, 2020, but only in China. However, pre-bookings are already opened in its home market. The price of Realme X7 and X7 in China is listed below along with its expected price in Nepal.

The company still hasn’t told anything about its release or launch in other countries yet. However, Indian Unboxing YouTubers and other international YouTubers have already unboxed and tested the device out. This may be a sign that it will be releasing outside of China soon. The market of Realme in India and Nepal is huge so keeping this in mind, they might launch this device here.
