Tecno Pova 2 Overview
Techno Pova 2 is the successor to the Techno Pova that was launched back in February 2021 in Nepal. The smartphone boasts a large 6.9 FHD+ display, 48 MP Quad cameras, Helio G85 SoC, massive 7000mAh Battery, etc.
Design & Display
Starting off with the design, Tecno Pova 2 comes with a unique design. It has a Slender grip Hold with the perfect curve. The phone has a glass front, a plastic frame, and a plastic back. It measures 173.32 x 78.78 x 9.62 mm in dimensions.There is also a punch-hole cutout at the front that houses a selfie camera.
Tecno Pova 2 flaunts an extra-large 6.9 inches Full HD+ Dot-in display along with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device also comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 82.8% screen-to-body ratio, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 368 PPI density, 480 nits screen brightness, etc. As for biometrics, the phone features a Side-mounted Fingerprint Scanner.
Camera
Moving into the cameras, Tecno Pova 2 sports a quad-camera setup at the rear with a vertical rectangular camera module. It consists of a 48 MP primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture, a 2 MP macro sensor, a 2 MP depth sensor, and an AI lens.
On the front, the smartphone houses an 8 MP Selfie camera with Dual Flash. Talking about the videography aspect, the rear cameras are capable of shooting videos up to 1440p@30fps, 1080p@30fps, and the front camera records up to 1080p@30fps.
MediaTek Helio G85 SoC
In terms of performance, Tecno Pova 2 rocks the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. It is an octa-core processor based on a 12 nm manufacturing process that comes with 2 Arm Cortex-A75 clocked at 2.0 GHz, and 6 Arm Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.8GHz. As for graphics, it has Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU onboard. Talking about the memory configuration of the device, it is paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage on board. You also get a memory expansion option via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the software front, the Tecno Pova 2 runs on Android 11 with Tecno’s HiOS 7.6 on top. It also features an ET Game Engine for smooth, more Powerful, and Dynamic Game Performance. So, there you get the upgraded gaming space and enhanced gaming power.
Battery and Connectivity
Talking about the battery prowess of the smartphone, Tecno Pova 2 is fueled with a monstrous 7,000mAh (typ) battery. The device also supports 18W Dual IC Flash Charging technology. As per the brand’s claim, it lasts up to 2.4 hours of calling or music playing for 20 hours with just 10 minutes of charging.
